Where the heart of your music speaks!

This month I’m getting another batch of USB sticks in to give away FREE with every booking of 8 hours or more. The last batch was offered last October and were snapped up almost immediately. These ones are likely to go just as fast as they are super cool slimline silver ones!

Their 16GB capacity is more than enough space to hold the more demanding projects (Our largest project to date was around 12Gb). And of course, you can keep it and re-use it over and over again to store your personal music projects, videos, photos and documents. You need never have the excuse that you left an important file at home again as you can use this as a keyring or funky pendant!!

I’m expecting delivery of this new batch of sticks in a few days, so make sure you nip over to our calendar and book your session now, as stocks are limited to only the first 20 sessions. Use voucher code USBjune120603 when booking.

Today in session, Steve Brown came to re-record acoustic guitar and vocals to some songs that he played with his band down in the West Country. Chatting with him, it was interesting to learn that he and his band played at Glastonbury last year. Although he didn’t have time to complete all the tracks today, he took them away on his USB stick so that he can mix them himself at home. I hope to see him again in the near future to finish off the last few tracks. Continue reading

Long time Wobbly subscriber and fantastic songwriter, Martin Noakes, is finally having some success with a controversial song he has written about the 911 tragedy. He has this to say…

I have a controversial song that I was asked to make a new video for by a U.K. T.V. station in order to avoid copyright issues with images. This video is now being played regularly on the station and has done pretty well on youtube as well. The station is Edge Media – Controversial T.V. (Sky 200)

I think its a great song (I’ve listened to all the versions!), and personally I tend to agree with what he has to say.

One minute I was happily dishing out my July Offer, the next time I looked it was September! The simple fact is that I’ve been so busy, I completely lost all track of time… and I haven’t even had a holiday!

Well I have nothing booked into the studio for the rest of this week, so I’ll be able to grab a few hours to work on some “in House” projects in progress. This lot is just skimming the surface of all the projects that are currently inhabiting my hard drive! Continue reading

I’m now the proud owner of some custom-made software that enables my customers to book their studio time online at their convenience. As there is only one calendar, there will be no danger of double-booking someone, or forgetting to write it in my diary. Continue reading

Despite the fact that I haven’t finished all the decorating and I have yet to organise an open day and launch party, I have had a few bands in to try the place out.

The last of the bands to visit us during pre-launch was a fantastic outfit called “Journeyman”. They Continue reading
